Style recipe for Suno v5
Hard Rock
Hard rock from the 1970s: swaggering blues-rock riff, tack piano vamp, snarling wah solo, theatrical and menacing in feel. A name-free Suno recipe that reproduces the signature sound without tripping the artist-name filter.
History
Hard rock grew out of the garage, psychedelic and blues rock of the mid-1960s, when British and American bands took electric blues and made it louder, rougher and heavier on the riff. The distorted guitar leads, the drums lean on a strong kick and a hard backbeat, and singers growl, rasp or wail up into falsetto. Early sparks include The Kinks' 1964 single and The Who's My Generation in 1965; The Beatles later tried to out-noise The Who with Helter Skelter. Blue Cheer's distorted 1968 cover of Summertime Blues sketched much of what followed, and Steppenwolf's Born to Be Wild carried the first lyrical mention of heavy metal before Easy Rider made it famous in 1969. The genre locked into shape with Led Zeppelin's two 1969 albums, then Deep Purple's In Rock and Black Sabbath's Paranoid in 1970. In the late 1960s hard rock and heavy metal were interchangeable names; metal later went darker, while hard rock stayed the good-time music. The 1980s brought a commercial peak with Bon Jovi, Def Leppard and Guns N' Roses, grunge pushed it aside in the 1990s, and Lordi later won Eurovision with Hard Rock Hallelujah.
