Because a bare prompt leaves gaps, and Suno fills every gap with its own loud default — a vocal, an instrument, a structure you never asked for. The constructor writes each part as an explicit tag, so there's nothing left for it to guess at. You copy the result and paste into Suno.

Negatives like “no drums” don't work for me. Why?

Suno treats negatives as hints, not rules. The fix is to say what you do want, in positive tags — the constructor does this for every axis, so “leave it out” turns into an instruction Suno actually follows.
