Blues rock from the 1990s: bottleneck slide guitar, warm electric piano, brushed kit backbeat, warm and playful in feel. A name-free Suno recipe that reproduces the signature sound without tripping the artist-name filter.

History

Blues rock took shape in the 1960s, when rock musicians in Britain and the United States started playing electric Chicago blues by the likes of Willie Dixon and Muddy Waters, only faster and harder. In Britain the Rolling Stones, the Yardbirds and the Animals put blues songs into the pop charts, while Lonnie Mack and Canned Heat were among the first in America. It kept the twelve-bar form but often swapped triplet swing for straight rock eighths, adding loud amplification, heavy riffs and long solos. Cream's "Crossroads" shows it: a Robert Johnson song driven by a steady rock pulse of bass and drums. John Mayall's bands trained a generation of British players, and Jimi Hendrix left a lasting mark on blues rock guitar. The Yardbirds alone produced three key guitarists: Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck, who pushed blues rock toward heavy rock, and Jimmy Page, who went on to form Led Zeppelin. Later it took in Southern rock bands like the Allman Brothers Band and ZZ Top; in the 1980s and 1990s players returned to blues roots, though some, like Stevie Ray Vaughan, neared rock stardom. In Russian rock it took root early, with Mashina Vremeni, Zoopark and Krematoriy.
