History
Feduk, the stage name of Fyodor Insarov, is a Russian rapper and singer born February 9, 1992, in Moscow. His father taught at MGIMO and his mother taught Russian literature; postings abroad took the family to China and then to Budapest, Hungary, where a teenage Feduk first discovered rap and picked up the nickname that stuck, since "Feduk" reads more naturally to Hungarian ears than "Fyodor." He formed an early group, Dobro za Rap, in 2009 and released a solo debut, "Sezon Ognya," in 2013 with producer Toobe. A soundtrack cut for the film "Okolofutbola" the same year built his reputation, and Versus Battle appearances followed. His biggest breakthrough came via the 2018 duet with Eldzhey, "Rozovoe Vino" (Rose Wine), which topped Russian charts and has drawn close to 300 million YouTube views; other hits include "Akvarel," "Palmy," and "Mayak." He has released several studio albums, including "Zavtrak" (2018) and "Yay" (2020), and briefly acted in the TNT series "Tolya Robot."
