History
ST (born Alexander Stepanov, September 23, 1988, Moscow) is a Russian rapper, singer, and TV host who began recording in 2003 with the group Souljar's Family. Producer Seryoga signed him to the KingRing label in 2006, and in 2008 ST released his debut album "Сто из ста" ("Sto iz Sta," a pun meaning "100 out of 100") through the Phlatline hip-hop agency, backed by videos aired on MTV Russia and Muz-TV. His 2011 follow-up "На100ящий" carried the single "Девочка с периферии," directed by filmmaker Sarik Andreasyan. The 2013 album "Пуленепробиваемый" ("Bulletproof") earned a Muz-TV Award nomination for Best Hip-Hop Project. ST recorded several collaborations with fellow rapper Guf, and in 2014 he won a Versus Battle rap duel against Harry Topor, though he lost a high-profile 2016 battle to Oxxxymiron. One notable coincidence: ST and Guf share the same birthday, September 23, nine years apart, which they marked by releasing their joint track "По-другому" on that date in 2009.
