History
Egor Kreed (born Egor Nikolayevich Bulatkin, June 25, 1994, Penza, Russia) is a Russian singer, rapper, and songwriter who emerged in the early 2010s. He posted his debut track "Lyubov v Seti" on YouTube in July 2011 under the name KReeD, and its video, featuring actress Miroslava Karpovich, drew millions of views and made him a fast-rising name in Russian hip-hop. He signed with Timati's Black Star label in 2012, moving to hip-hop-leaning pop with a run of chart hits including "Samaya Samaya" (2014), which topped Russian charts and racked up over twenty million YouTube views, followed by his debut album "Holostyak" (2015). He left Black Star for Warner Music Russia in 2019. A recurring collaborator of Timati, he co-created the track "Tsvet Nastroeniya Cherny," a rap take on Filipp Kirkorov's hit. He won Hit Music Awards' Best YouTube Performer in Russia twice (2017, 2019). Interestingly, he was the central figure of the 2017 reality show "Kholostyak" (the Russian Bachelor). In 2024 he rebranded his stage name to Egor Split.
