History
SoFaygo, born Andre Dontrel Burt Jr. on October 3, 2001, in Grand Rapids, Michigan, is an American rapper, singer, and songwriter based in Atlanta, Georgia. He recorded his first song at age nine and began releasing music seriously as a teenager, initially under the name Trvllinese, before dropping his debut mixtape War in 2019. His breakout came almost by accident: Knock Knock, a 2019 single, went viral on TikTok in late 2020 and was later certified platinum by the RIAA. In 2021 he guested on Trippie Redd's MP5, his first Billboard Hot 100 entry, and signed with Travis Scott's Cactus Jack Records, joining labelmates Sheck Wes and Don Toliver. His sound blends trap, rage, and plugg, with influences ranging from Playboi Carti to Chief Keef. He released his debut album Pink Heartz in 2022, followed by the EP GO+ (2023) and the 19-track mixtape Mania (2025). One notable detail: before Cactus Jack, he turned down an early signing offer from Internet Money founder Taz Taylor.
