History
Don Toliver, born Caleb Zackary Toliver in 1994, is a rapper and singer from the Alief neighborhood of Houston, Texas, where his father's ties to the local Swishahouse label filled his childhood with music. He began releasing his own tracks in 2017, and his 2018 mixtape Donny Womack caught the ear of fellow Houston native Travis Scott. Toliver's feature on Scott's Astroworld cut "Can't Say" became one of the album's most-streamed songs, and he was signed to Scott's Cactus Jack Records within a week, joining the JackBoys collective. His sound blends melodic, Auto-Tuned trap with R&B crooning. Singles "No Idea" and "After Party" both went triple platinum and charted on the Billboard Hot 100, and his albums Heaven or Hell (2020), Life of a DON (2021), Love Sick (2023), and Hardstone Psycho (2024) all reached the Billboard Top Ten, with a fifth album, Octane, following in 2026. He has been in a relationship with singer Kali Uchis since 2020, and the two share a child.
