History
Instasamka is the stage name of Darya Yevgenyevna Zoteyeva (later Yeropkina), a Russian pop-rap artist and internet personality born May 11, 2000, in Tobolsk, Tyumen Oblast. She built her early audience in 2016-2017 as an Instagram comedy blogger, first under the alias "Presidentsha" before adopting the name Instasamka after moving to Moscow. She turned to music in 2019, releasing the rap-leaning albums Born to Flex and "Triple Malysh," followed in 2020 by Mamacita and the collaborative "Semeyny Biznes" (Family Business) with her longtime creative partner and now-husband, producer/rapper Moneyken (Oleg Yeropkin). Her sound shifted toward glossy pop-rap with the 2021 EP Moneydealer, whose single "Lipsi Ha" topped Apple Music Russia, and the 2022 albums Queen of Rap and Popstar. The single "Za Dengi Da" ("For Money, Yes") reportedly spent 76 days at No. 1 on the Yandex Music chart, and VK Music named her Artist of the Year for 2023, crediting her with roughly 600 million streams that year. In 2024 she released a joint EP with the veteran band Leningrad.
