Big Baby Tape (born Egor Rakitin, January 5, 2000, Moscow) is a Russian rapper, producer, and songwriter who emerged from Moscow's underground scene in the late 2010s. He began producing beats in FL Studio as a young teenager under the alias DJ Tape, drawing on early influences from 50 Cent and Gucci Mane, before shifting to rapping and releasing his debut mixtape, Cookin' Anthems, in 2017. He is closely associated with the collective Benzo Gang and works across trap, pop rap, and plugg. His profile rose after fellow rapper Feduk publicly praised him, and his catalog grew to include Dragonborn (2018), Bandana I (2021), VARSKVA (2023), and PEEKABOO (2024); Bandana I was a joint project with rapper Kizaru. One verified trivia point: his breakout track "Gimme the Loot" reportedly started as a leftover verse meant for someone else's feature, and was later reworked into a collaboration with singer Dora. He also faced a public plagiarism accusation from US rapper Leavemealone over rhythmic similarities between his song "Weight" and Leavemealone's "Face."
