Электрофорез
Cold russian synth-punk from the 2010s: cold synth arpeggio, analog drum machine, detuned saw lead, menacing and hypnotic in feel. A name-free Suno recipe that reproduces the signature sound without tripping the artist-name filter.

History
Elektroforez (Электрофорез) is a Russian synth-pop and darkwave duo from Saint Petersburg, formed in 2012 by school friends Ivan Kurochkin (vocals) and Vitaly Talyzin. The pair started out making lo-fi electronic music quietly for years before releasing anything, and the band's name reportedly stuck as a half-joke from a trip to the Peter and Paul Fortress. Their sound moved from early lo-fi experiments toward a moodier, restrained synth-pop and darkwave style, built around Kurochkin's distinctive vocals (shaped in part by childhood choir singing) and decadent, melancholic lyrics. They released three full-length albums, six EPs, and nine singles, including the album "505" and songs like "Зло" and "Фотограф" that drew millions of streams. A notable early boost came in 2013 when American band Xiu Xiu put out an official remix of their track "Эшафот" ("Scaffold"); the group also played Manifesta 10 in Saint Petersburg and toured Poland and Germany with the Boль festival in 2018. In late 2024 Elektroforez announced a creative pause, with Kurochkin moving into a solo career.
