Coroner
Cold technical thrash from the 1990s: staccato muted riffing, neoclassical lead runs, clean chorused arpeggios, menacing and theatrical in feel. A name-free Suno recipe that reproduces the signature sound without tripping the artist-name filter.

History
A Swiss trio is an odd place for technical thrash to peak, but Coroner formed in Zurich in 1983 and spent a decade proving the point. Tommy Vetterli played guitar, Ron Broder sang and played bass under the name Ron Royce, and Markus Edelmann drummed. Before the first record they worked as roadies for Celtic Frost, whose Tom G. Warrior sang on their 1986 demo. R.I.P. (1987) and Punishment for Decadence (1988) were dense and fast; No More Color (1989) and Mental Vortex (1991) are the ones people still cite, cold in tone, clipped in phrasing, with classical guitar exercises audible inside the riffing. Grin (1993) slowed everything into something closer to industrial, which split the audience. The band stopped in 1996 and returned in 2010 for live work. Vetterli later worked as a studio engineer. The appeal here is precision rather than aggression: every part sounds written out, nothing is left to chance.
