History
IC3PEAK is a Russian electronic duo formed in Moscow on October 19, 2013 by vocalist Anastasia Kreslina and producer Nikolay Kostilev. Their sound blends witch house, experimental hip hop and electronica, paired with visuals the pair direct and edit themselves. Early EPs "Substances" and "Vacuum" (2014) were in English; the duo built an international following touring Europe and South America before switching to Russian-language lyrics on "Сладкая жизнь" (2017) and "Сказка" (2018). The video for "Смерти Больше Нет" ("Death No More") became their most-watched, passing 145 million YouTube views. Their political lyrics triggered real confrontation: during a 2018 tour, venues were pressured to cancel shows, and police detained the duo for hours at a train station in Novosibirsk, drawing coverage from the BBC, NPR and Human Rights Watch. Later releases brought collaborations with ZillaKami, Bring Me the Horizon's Oliver Sykes, and Kim Dracula, plus a 2025 album, "Coming Home," profiled by The New York Times.
