Style recipe for Suno v5
Grindcore
Grindcore blast metal from the 1990s: buzzsaw distorted guitars, blast beat snare, rumbling picked bass, aggressive and raw in feel. A name-free Suno recipe that reproduces the signature sound without tripping the artist-name filter.
History
Grindcore took hardcore punk and pushed it until a song could be over in seconds. The style took shape in mid-1980s Britain around Napalm Death, a band out of the Birmingham anarcho-punk scene, and it leaned on two American precursors: Siege from Weymouth, Massachusetts, raised on Black Flag and Motörhead and set on writing faster than the fastest hardcore they could find, and Repulsion, sometimes credited with inventing the classic grind blast beat at 190 bpm. The kit is plain punk, guitar, bass and drums, but tuned low and buried in distortion, with the blast beat hammering sixteenth notes across kick, snare and cymbals and vocals swinging between shrieks and throat-shredding growls. On Napalm Death's 1987 debut Scum the guitars sit in E-flat on side A and drop to C on side B. Carcass followed in 1988 with Reek of Putrefaction, 22 tracks averaging under two minutes, and became the root of goregrind. Brevity even set records: Brutal Truth's four-second "Collateral Damage" won a Guinness entry for shortest music video, and Napalm Death beat it in 2007 with a clip lasting 1.3 seconds. Goregrind, pornogrind and sample-driven cybergrind branched off, yet the genre has stayed underground.
