Inspiration, name-free
Yotto
Progressive house from the 2010s: rolling arpeggiated synths, sidechained bass, four-on-the-floor kick, hypnotic and euphoric in feel. A name-free Suno recipe that reproduces the signature sound without tripping the artist-name filter.
Style: Progressive house
History
Yotto is the stage name of Otto Yliperttula, a Finnish DJ, songwriter, and record producer born October 8, 1986, in Helsinki. He started out in the Helsinki melodic deep house duo Something Good before going solo, joining the Anjunadeep label roster in 2015 with the "Memento" / "Azzurro" EP. His sound spans deep house, house, and techno, marked by atmospheric builds and precise bass work. He later launched his own label, Odd One Out, and has released two studio albums, Hyperfall (2018) and Growth (2023). His 2016 track "The Owls" hit number one on the Beatport chart and was named "Hottest Record in the World" by BBC Radio 1's Annie Mac. He has also remixed Coldplay's "Adventure of a Lifetime," which premiered via Billboard, and collaborated with artists including Above & Beyond, M83, London Grammar, Rüfüs, Lane 8, and Joris Voorn. On the track "Wondering," the vocals came from his own younger brother, recorded in a small home studio in Finland.
