Inspiration, name-free
Скриптонит
Murky auto-tuned trap from the 2010s: sub-heavy 808 bass, smeared minor synth, muffled rim clicks, hypnotic and melancholic in feel. A name-free Suno recipe that reproduces the signature sound without tripping the artist-name filter.
Style: Russian melodic rap
History
Skriptonit (stage name of Adil Zhalelov, born Adil Kulmagambetov on June 3, 1990) is a rapper, singer, songwriter, and producer from Kazakhstan. He grew up in the village of Leninsky near Pavlodar, where he studied art and design before turning fully to music. He broke through in 2013 with the single "VBVVCTND," and his 2014 debut album "Dom s normalnymi yavleniyami" (House with Normal Occurrences) became one of the best-selling Russian-language rap records of 2015, reportedly outselling Justin Bieber on iTunes charts. The album's success drew interest from Russia's Gazgolder label, run by rapper Basta, which Skriptonit joined as a resident artist. In 2017 he released the double album "Uroboros: Ulitsa 36" / "Uroboros: Zerkala" — the number 36 nodding to his birth date, June 3. He later founded his own label, Musica36, and in 2018 split his output between solo work as Scryptonite and a full band, Gruppa Skryptonite. He has repeatedly insisted his music be labeled Kazakh rap rather than Russian rap.
