History

Приключения Электроников is a Russian pop-punk supergroup that plays almost nothing but covers of songs from Soviet children's films and cartoons, along with other hits of that era. The name and the idea came from Konstantin Savelyevskikh, and the first recording, Песенка оживших игрушек, was made in 1999 for a punk compilation. The lineup has always drawn on musicians from other punk bands, among them Тараканы!, НАИВ and Ульи, which is why the project is called a supergroup. The formula is simple: tunes generations of Soviet children heard on television, played fast and loud on distorted guitars. Albums followed at a steady pace, starting with Прекрасное далёко in 2001, Земля в иллюминаторе in 2003 and Детство наше прошло? in 2004, then А ну-ка, девушки! and Давайте созвонимся! later in the decade and Мечты сбываются in 2015. The only original song in the catalogue is Уходит детство. The tone is nostalgic, cheerful and a little ironic. The band is recognised instantly by melodies listeners already know by heart, rebuilt as short, energetic punk songs.
