Люмен
Russian protest punk rock from the 2000s: distorted power chords, driving pick bass, galloping palm mutes, defiant and raw in feel. A name-free Suno recipe that reproduces the signature sound without tripping the artist-name filter.

History
Lumen is a Russian rock band from Ufa, Bashkortostan, that traces its roots to informal jam sessions among schoolmates in the mid-1990s and adopted its current name on February 12, 1998 - the date the band marks as its official birthday. Fronted by vocalist and lyricist Rustem "Tem" Bulatov, the lineup has long featured guitarist Igor "Garik" Mamaev and drummer Denis "Den" Shakhanov, with bassist Yevgeny "Shmel" Trishin joining around 2007. The band's sound moved from punk-tinged alternative rock toward heavier alternative metal and post-grunge over the years, with lyrics tackling social and personal struggles. Lumen's 2003 debut, "Bez konservantov" ("No Preservatives Added"), produced the breakout single "Sid i Nensi" ("Sid & Nancy"). Later records include "Tri puti" (2004) and the double album "Na chasti" (2012), mixed abroad by Rob Hill, known for his work with Korn, Deftones, and R.E.M. The 2013 follow-up, "Net vremeni dlya lyubvi," debuted at number one on the Russian iTunes chart. In 2007, the band won an award from Fuzz magazine.
