Kaskade
Progressive house from the 2010s: rolling arpeggiated synths, sidechained bass, four-on-the-floor kick, hypnotic and euphoric in feel. A name-free Suno recipe that reproduces the signature sound without tripping the artist-name filter.
Style: Progressive house
History
Kaskade is the stage name of Ryan Raddon, an American DJ and producer born February 25, 1971, near Chicago. He began playing Chicago house parties in the mid-1990s, then moved to San Francisco in 2000 to work at Om Records, where the emerging deep house scene shaped his sound. He picked the name Kaskade from a photo of a waterfall in a nature book, respelling the word "cascade." His 2003 debut album It's You, It's Me established him in house music, and after signing to Ultra Records in 2006 he built a run of Billboard dance-chart hits, including "Move for Me" and "I Remember," both made with Deadmau5. Kaskade earned two Grammy nominations in 2013, for the song and album Atmosphere, and was voted America's Best DJ in 2011 and 2013. In 2015 he co-headlined Coachella with Drake to the festival's largest crowds ever, and in February 2024 he became the first DJ to perform throughout a Super Bowl, at Super Bowl LVIII. He and Deadmau5 later reunited as the duo Kx5.
