Inspiration, name-free
Steve Aoki
Festival electro house crash from the 2010s: distorted saw bass, detuned electro lead, snare roll riser, aggressive and euphoric in feel. A name-free Suno recipe that reproduces the signature sound without tripping the artist-name filter.

History
Before he was a touring DJ, Steve Aoki ran a label. He founded Dim Mak in 1996 while at college, putting out punk and indie records long before the electro house that made his name. He is the son of Rocky Aoki, who founded the Benihana restaurant chain. Wonderland, his first album, came out in 2012 and was nominated for a Grammy; the Neon Future series followed from 2014, stacking guest vocalists over the same hard build-and-crash structure. His sets are organised around the drop as a physical event: the tempo halves, the bass distorts, and for years he threw sheet cake into the crowd at the moment it landed. He tours at a pace that has repeatedly placed him among the busiest DJs in the world by show count. What the records sell is impact rather than groove, and they are mixed accordingly, loud and front-heavy.
