History
Blago White (born Vladislav Pomerantsev, 19 November 1995, Moscow) is a Russian rapper working in trap and pop-rap. As a toddler he moved with his family to the United States and returned to Russia at age seven, which left him more comfortable in English than Russian at school — a background he later turned into a signature move: unlike many Russian rappers who lean into American slang, he deliberately writes in a folksy, distinctly Russian idiom, collecting old sayings and turning phrases into bars. He debuted with the 2019 mixtape "ICYHOTBOX," whose track "Lemme Smoke" became his breakout hit. In 2020 he released two full-length records, "Tha Malchik" and "MYASA" (home to the single "Kaifalogia"), and was named one of the three most promising young rappers by fellow artist Morgenshtern. He founded the MIR FOUNDATION, a label and creative collective that also includes Boost Morale, danchainz, BIG MAMA and Polovi, and has recorded with OG Buda, SODA LUV, Mayot and Feduk. His music is released through Universal Music.
