PSY
2010s Korean comedy electro house from the 2010s: sawtooth stab riff, four-floor kick thump, detuned supersaw lead, playful and euphoric in feel. A name-free Suno recipe that reproduces the signature sound without tripping the artist-name filter.

History
PSY works in a register Korean pop rarely used before him: loud, comic, deliberately graceless. Gangnam Style is built on a blunt electro house pulse and a shouted hook, and its subject is money, specifically the affluent Seoul district the title names and the people who perform a wealth they may not have. The horse riding dance made the joke portable, and in 2012 the video became the first to pass a billion views on YouTube, a number that changed how the industry thought about reach. He was not a new artist at that point. He had spent years in Korea as a heavyset, irreverent performer whose shows leaned on stamina and crowd work rather than choreographed polish, which is why the global version of him felt less like a debut than an export. Gentleman and Daddy repeated the formula with the same hard synth bass and blocky rhythm. What listeners recognise is the shouted chorus and the sense that the performer got to the joke before anyone else did.
