Literary russian battle rap from the 2010s: minor-key cinematic strings, muted upright piano, dusty chopped break, theatrical and menacing in feel. A name-free Suno recipe that reproduces the signature sound without tripping the artist-name filter.

History

Oxxxymiron, born Miron Fyodorov in Leningrad in 1985, is one of the most influential figures in Russian hip-hop. His family emigrated when he was nine, first to Essen, Germany, then to Slough, England, and he later studied English literature at Balliol College, Oxford. He restarted his music career in London in 2008 under the Oxxxymiron name, a blend of his first name, the word "oxymoron," and a reference to explicit content. His 2011 debut album The Wandering Jew and 2015 concept album Gorgorod are widely regarded within the Russian rap community as landmark releases of the 2010s, blending hip-hop, grime, and alternative hip-hop with dense, literary wordplay. He also built a reputation as a battle rapper: his 2017 Versus Battle clash with Slava KPSS drew over nine million views in a single day, and he is cited as one of the most-watched battle rappers on YouTube worldwide, with combined battle views exceeding 120 million.
