History
Mukka (born Serafim Vladimirovich Sidorin, July 26, 1994, in Vyksa, Nizhny Novgorod region, Russia) is a Russian singer-songwriter and rock musician signed to the label Rhymes Music. Despite performing as a one-man act, he brands his project as "a rock band without a rock band." His sound sits between pop-punk, electronic-rock, and pop-rock, delivered in a baritone voice. Active since 2018, Mukka hit his commercial peak in 2018-2019 with the single and EP "Девочка с каре" ("Girl with a Bob Haircut"), released in December 2018; its music video followed in April 2019 and became his signature hit. Other notable tracks from that breakout run include "Отдай кота," "Не горят," "Таблетка," and "Крыльями." He has kept releasing music since, including a collaboration with Ravanna on "Уходя уходи." A small piece of trivia: despite never having an actual backing band, the self-styled "band without a band" line stuck and still describes his YouTube channel today.
