Style recipe for Suno v5
Jackin House
Jackin house from the 2010s: chopped vocal, bouncy bass, disco stab, playful and swaggering in feel. A name-free Suno recipe that reproduces the signature sound without tripping the artist-name filter.
History
Jackin house is named after a dance, not the other way round. The jack, a freestyle move in which the dancer ripples the torso back and forth, grew up in early 1980s Chicago clubs: the Warehouse and the Power Plant, where Frankie Knuckles was resident DJ, and Ron Hardy's Music Box. The producer Chip E. summed it up in 1986: jacking is to house what boogying was to disco. Writing in SPIN the same year, Barry Walters said house lyrics consist of dancing and sex. Then the word moved onto the records. Chip E. released the Jack Trax EP in 1985, Farley Jackmaster Funk put out Jack'n the House the same year, Steve Silk Hurley followed with Jack Your Body in 1986, Jack 'n' Chill with The Jack That House Built in 1987 and Hithouse with Jack to the Sound of the Underground in 1988. From those titles the name passed to certain styles of house music, now called jackin house.
