Style recipe for Suno v5
Future Rave
Future rave from the 2020s: dark supersaw, hoover lead, rolling bass, menacing and anthemic in feel. A name-free Suno recipe that reproduces the signature sound without tripping the artist-name filter.
History
Future rave is an EDM style whose name was coined by two DJ-producers, the French David Guetta and the Dane Morten Breum. They began working together in 2019 and later gave the sound of those sessions its name. The first two tracks in the style were Never Be Alone with Aloe Blacc and an official remix of Avicii's Heaven. The sound sits between techno and progressive house: futuristic techno with trance arrangements layered in, long build-ups and drops, euphoric vocals and anthemic breakdowns. Magnetic Mag put the difference down to a slight shift in syncopation. The percussion gains an extra layer of offbeat accents, which gives a more mature, rolling groove under the same aggressively programmed synth hits, and the timing reaches back to the early rave days of the 1990s. In 2022 Guetta and Morten took Future Rave on a US tour that included EDC and opened a residency under the same name at Hï Ibiza. The same year Hardwell returned to Ultra Music Festival after a four-year hiatus with a set described as future rave and future techno, along with the track Black Magic. Armin van Buuren joined in too, with Let's Rave, Make Love, made with Shapov.
