Inspiration, name-free
Hardwell
Progressive house from the 2010s: rolling arpeggiated synths, sidechained bass, four-on-the-floor kick, hypnotic and euphoric in feel. A name-free Suno recipe that reproduces the signature sound without tripping the artist-name filter.
Style: Progressive house
History
Hardwell, born Robbert van de Corput on 7 January 1988 in Breda, Netherlands, is a Dutch DJ and producer working in EDM, big room house, and progressive house. He started piano at six, was producing electro tracks by twelve, and signed his first record deal at fourteen. His 2009 bootleg mash-up of "Show Me Love" and "Be" first put him on the international radar, and in 2010 he launched his own label, Revealed Recordings, which went on to sign acts like W&W, Dannic, and Dyro. His breakout single "Spaceman" (2012) sold over half a million copies in the US and became a big-room house anthem. In 2013 and 2014 he was voted the world's number one DJ by DJ Mag, back to back, a feat few artists repeat. His debut album, United We Are, arrived in 2015. He announced an indefinite touring hiatus in 2018 to focus on his personal life, then returned in 2022 by closing Ultra Miami's mainstage with his second album, Rebels Never Die.
