Style recipe for Suno v5
Euro Trance
Euro trance from the 2000s: bright saw lead, rolling bass line, piano chord stabs, euphoric and anthemic in feel. A name-free Suno recipe that reproduces the signature sound without tripping the artist-name filter.
History
Euro trance is less a single subgenre than a collective label: trance written and recorded in Europe, above all in Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands, or any trance whose harmony and form lean on the European musical tradition. Progressive trance, which Europeans often call simply Progressive, brought its epic and aquasonic offshoots along and was played by ATB, Alice DeeJay, Sash!, Tiesto, Armin van Buuren and Paul van Dyk. Vocal trance began in the late 1990s as ordinary trance with a singer added; the satellite channels Viva, Onyx and MTV2-Pop spread it around the world, and its centre moved to Germany and Belgium. Its names include Cascada, Basshunter, Ian Van Dahl, Milk Inc and Kate Ryan. Uplifting trance rides high, floating melodies over a bass that pulses in low and high arpeggios, and dream trance, short-lived around the turn of the 2000s, merged with progressive and became Aquasonic Trance. The oddest part of the story is a naming mix-up. In the early 2000s dancecore, also known as hands up, split off from vocal trance, and outside Europe many listeners still call it euro trance, although the two styles now have nothing to do with each other.
