2010s female-fronted pop-punk from the 2010s: stabbing staccato riffs, glassy chorus-pedal arpeggios, melodic bass counterpoint, defiant and anthemic in feel. A name-free Suno recipe that reproduces the signature sound without tripping the artist-name filter.

History

Paramore built their sound around a voice that cuts through everything behind it. Hayley Williams sings with a hard, bright edge that stays in tune at full volume, and the band from Franklin, Tennessee wrote guitar parts that leave room for it. Riot! in 2007 put them at the front of the emo and pop punk wave, with Misery Business as the song most people learned them by. They kept moving after that. The self titled album in 2013 traded distortion for gospel choirs, ukulele and clean funk guitar, and Ain't It Fun took a Grammy for its writing. After Laughter went further, borrowing the brightness of eighties new wave for songs about exhaustion and falling apart, and that contrast became their signature move. This Is Why in 2023 pulled the guitars back into something tense and post punk, and won Best Rock Album. The constant across all of it is the same: melodies pitched high and sung hard, rhythm guitar used almost as percussion, and lyrics that refuse to console anyone.
