Goodie Mob
Southern gospel soul rap from the 1990s: live electric bass, hammond church organ, picked acoustic guitar, warm and defiant in feel. A name-free Suno recipe that reproduces the signature sound without tripping the artist-name filter.

History
Four Atlanta rappers, Cee-Lo Green, Big Gipp, Khujo and T-Mo, working inside the Dungeon Family circle alongside OutKast and the production team Organized Noize. Soul Food (1995) is where the phrase Dirty South entered wide use, as the title of one of its tracks, and the album set the terms for a decade of Southern rap that had nothing to do with either coast. Organized Noize built the beds from live bass, church organ and gospel backing vocals rather than hard drum loops, which gave Cell Therapy its heaviness without speed. The group's trick was casting: three plain-spoken street voices, and then Cee-Lo wailing counter-melodies across them in something closer to soul singing than rapping. Still Standing followed in 1998 and World Party in 1999. Cee-Lo left for a solo run and later Gnarls Barkley; the four reunited for Age Against the Machine in 2013.
