Trivium
Thrash metal from the 2000s: down-picked distorted guitars, galloping bass, double-kick drums, menacing and aggressive in feel. A name-free Suno recipe that reproduces the signature sound without tripping the artist-name filter.

History
Trivium is a heavy metal band from Orlando, Florida, formed in 1999 by singer Brad Lewter, guitarist Jarred Bonaparte, and drummer Travis Smith. Matt Heafy joined soon after as guitarist and eventually took over lead vocals, and the band settled into its long-running core lineup with guitarist Corey Beaulieu (joined 2003) and bassist Paolo Gregoletto (joined 2004); drummers have changed repeatedly over the years, most recently Alex Rudinger in 2025. The band's name comes from the Latin word for a three-way crossroads, reflecting its fusion of metalcore, melodic death metal, and thrash. After a 2003 debut on Lifeforce Records, Trivium signed to Roadrunner Records and broke through with 2005's Ascendancy, named Album of the Year by Kerrang! magazine. Ten studio albums have followed, with sales topping one million worldwide. In 2019, the song "Betrayer" earned Trivium a Grammy nomination for Best Metal Performance, and in 2005 the band's Download Festival set was cited by Heafy as the show that launched them internationally.
