History
TOMORROW X TOGETHER work the loud, guitar-adjacent end of K-pop, and their records lean on pop-punk, synth-pop and hyperpop textures more often than on the hip-hop framing that dominated the boy groups before them. The concept they debuted with, a set of boys crossing out of childhood into something stranger, has stayed consistent across releases and gives the discography an unusual amount of narrative continuity. Crown introduced the formula, bright and slightly off-kilter. Sugar Rush Ride pushes the vocals into a breathier, more anxious register over a restless beat, and Chasing That Feeling builds on eighties synth production with a chorus written to open outward. The vocal arrangement is the technical part worth noticing: parts are distributed so that no single voice carries a chorus alone, and the harmony stacking is denser than the genre usually bothers with. Several of their albums have landed in the top three of the American album chart.
