The Notorious B.I.G.
Glossy mid-90s soul-loop rap from the 1990s: warm soul loop, round bassline, crisp snare crack, swaggering and warm in feel. A name-free Suno recipe that reproduces the signature sound without tripping the artist-name filter.

History
Christopher Wallace grew up in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn, and was signed by Sean Combs to Bad Boy. Ready to Die (1994) is built on glossy soul and funk loops, much of the production from Easy Mo Bee, and on a baritone that sits so far back in the pocket it can sound unhurried even at speed. Juicy and Big Poppa put him on daytime radio while the same album ran on suicide, debt and dread. He brought Junior M.A.F.I.A. through in 1995, which is where Lil' Kim started. He was shot and killed in Los Angeles in March 1997. Life After Death arrived sixteen days later, a double album that has since been certified diamond in the United States. What gets copied is the breath control and the placement, the way he leaves a beat empty for a fraction and lands on the other side of it.
