Inspiration, name-free
Слот
Russian nu-metal duet from the 2000s: downtuned groove riff, slap-punch bass, turntable scratch, defiant and theatrical in feel. A name-free Suno recipe that reproduces the signature sound without tripping the artist-name filter.

History
Slot (Слот) is a Russian alternative rock band from Moscow, formed on February 2, 2002 by Igor Lobanov ("Cash"), Sergei Bogolyubsky ("ID"), and Denis Khromykh ("Dan"). The group blends nu-metal, metalcore, and rapcore, and became known as one of Russia's few prominent rock acts fronted by a female vocalist. The original singer, Teona Dolnikova, left after a year to pursue acting; her successor, Ulyana Elina, joined during a 2003 lineup shake-up that also brought in guitarist Mikhail Korolyov and drummer Kirill Kachanov. Slot's 2006 album "2 Войны" ("2 Wars") was named best Russian rock album of the year by online outlet NEWSmusic.ru, and its track "Мёртвые звёзды" ("Dead Stars") became the soundtrack to the film "Boy s Tenyu 2." Over more than two decades the band released nine studio albums, toured extensively across Russia and neighboring countries, and marked its 20th anniversary with a tribute compilation featuring 24 guest artists, including Grigory Leps. In 2023 the band performed with a symphony orchestra; a vocalist change followed soon after, with Daria "Nuki" Stavrovich taking over as singer.
