Sheryl Crow
Nineties loop-driven roots rock from the 1990s: fuzz bass ostinato, looped drum break, Wurlitzer 200A comping, swaggering and warm in feel. A name-free Suno recipe that reproduces the signature sound without tripping the artist-name filter.

History
Sheryl Crow writes roots rock with a loose, hungover swing to it. The Missouri songwriter had already worked as a backing singer on stadium tours before Tuesday Night Music Club came out of a weekly gathering of Los Angeles musicians and turned into one of the decade's biggest debuts. All I Wanna Do is the record in miniature: a talked verse, a shrugging chorus, a bar-stool scene reported without comment and a groove that barely bothers to push. What followed leaned harder on guitars. If It Makes You Happy is built on a snarling riff and a vocal that tears at the top of the phrase, while Soak Up the Sun went the other way, bright and unbothered. The playing across her records draws on southern rock, country and sixties pop without settling in any of them, and she plays most of it herself. The recognisable element is the voice: dry, slightly flat by choice, always sounding like it is telling the story rather than performing it.
