Pharaoh
Russian cloud rap haze from the 2010s: gliding 808 bass, pitched vocal ghost, reverb-drenched bell, hypnotic and menacing in feel. A name-free Suno recipe that reproduces the signature sound without tripping the artist-name filter.

History
Gleb Golubin, recording as Pharaoh, set the terms for the Russian cloud-rap wave of the 2010s. Pink Phloyd (2016) and Phlora (2017) assembled the palette: a choked close-mic vocal buried in reverb, 808 bass with a long glide between notes, and sampled fragments that surface half-recognisable and disappear again. Dolor came in 2019 with the same core and a heavier, more compressed low end. He founded Dead Dynasty, the collective that gave Boulevard Depo and others a shared release channel and a shared aesthetic, from the artwork to the videos. The records rest on atmosphere as much as on text: a large part of the work is done by the mix itself, with the voice treated as texture rather than as a clear foreground narration. Much of the Russian-language rap that followed took that treatment as a default, and the fog-and-glide sound stayed in the scene long after those albums.
