History
Lyusya Chebotina (born Lyudmila Andreyevna Chebotina, April 26, 1997, in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky) is a Russian pop singer, songwriter, and actress. Her parents named her Lyudmila in honor of singer Lyudmila Zykina. She trained formally, earning a vocal-pedagogy diploma from the State Music College of Pop and Jazz Arts, and cut her teeth on television talent shows, including the Ukrainian version of The Voice in 2015 and the New Wave festival in Sochi in 2017. Early collaborations with MC Doni, Klava Koka, Dan Balan, and Bahh Tee built her profile before her 2021 single "Solntse Monako" ("Sun of Monaco") turned her into a household name, climbing to No. 68 on Shazam's global chart and earning her the RU.TV Award for Best Debut in 2022. Follow-up hits "Aeroexpress," "Trigger," and "Plakal Gollivud" cemented her run of radio-friendly pop. She has released three studio albums, including 2019's "Bezlimitnaya lyubov'" and 2023's "First Lady" on Rocket Records, and has expanded into acting, appearing in the films "Podrostki v kosmose" and "Zyat" in 2024.
