Nyc trap drill from the 2020s: gliding distorted 808s, stuttering hi-hat rolls, stomping clap snare, defiant and aggressive in feel. A name-free Suno recipe that reproduces the signature sound without tripping the artist-name filter.

History

Lola Brooke raps like she is trying to be heard over a crowded block party: a raspy, shouted delivery, hard consonants and a sense of humour that never softens the aggression. She comes from Bedford-Stuyvesant in Brooklyn, and her stage name joins the Looney Tunes character Lola Bunny with her home borough. Her breakout, "Don't Play with It", came out in 2021 and spread first on Twitter, then on TikTok and Instagram, carried by its chant-ready hook and bouncing drill-adjacent beat. The song kept growing, and in March 2023 a remix arrived with Latto and Yung Miami. That same year she signed with Arista, and in November 2023 she released her debut album, Dennis Daughter. She has named Meek Mill, Lil Wayne and 50 Cent as influences, and that lineage shows in how she treats a verse as a performance rather than a mood. What sticks is the gravel in her voice, the playground-taunt cadences and the way a Brooklyn drill pocket becomes a vehicle for pure attitude.
