LCD Soundsystem
2000s new-york dance-punk from the 2000s: motorik disco kit, sixteenth cowbell pulse, octave synth bass, hypnotic and euphoric in feel. A name-free Suno recipe that reproduces the signature sound without tripping the artist-name filter.

History
LCD Soundsystem started as a studio project for James Murphy and turned into a band that plays dance music with rock instruments and rock music with a drum machine underneath. Losing My Edge announced the tone: a spoken list of scenes and records, funny and self-lacerating at once, over a drum pattern that refuses to resolve. Sound of Silver is where the approach became songwriting, with All My Friends built on a single repeated piano figure that never changes while everything around it accumulates, and a vocal about time passing that lands harder the longer the track runs. The production borrows openly from Talking Heads, disco and early Chicago house without hiding the source. The group closed with a farewell show in 2011 and returned five years later, which changed the joke about ageing that ran through the early records but not the music. Live, the songs stretch, and the endings are the point.
