Kodak Black
Slurred florida melodic trap from the 2010s: sparse guitar loop, dark bell melody, thin 808 sub, hypnotic and melancholic in feel. A name-free Suno recipe that reproduces the signature sound without tripping the artist-name filter.

History
Pompano Beach, Florida, a Haitian immigrant family. "No Flockin" (2014) circulated first, the studio debut Painting Pictures followed in 2017, then Dying to Live in 2018, and "Super Gremlin" reached the top five in 2021. The voice identifies him in about two seconds: a slurred, adenoidal delivery that sits a little behind the beat and a little beside the note, as though he is singing at half effort and has no intention of landing anywhere exact. The beats under it are sparse Florida trap, often one guitar or bell figure and thinned-out drums, so the arrangement holds more empty space than sound. He records fast and in volume, which is why the catalogue spreads across mixtapes at least as much as albums. He changed his legal name to Bill Kapri in 2018.
