History
Indira Paganotto plays driving techno laced with psytrance: rolling basslines, hypnotic arpeggios, bursts of acid and a pace at the fast end of the modern peak-time sound. She was born in Las Palmas in the Canary Islands, grew up in Madrid as the daughter of a DJ, and began exploring music as a teenager. Her early albums, The Imaginarium in 2018 and Invisible Connections in 2021, were followed by two EPs on Charlotte de Witte's label KNTXT, Himalaya in 2021 and Lions of God in 2022, which established her on the international circuit. In 2022 she founded her own label, Artcore, and she has also released on Second State and Octopus Records. Later came the Mantra EP with Joseph Capriati and the single Dragon with Armin van Buuren, both in 2024, and her album Arte Como Amante appeared in 2026. She entered DJ Mag's Top 100 DJs in 2023. Her sets are recognised by their fusion of nineties rave elements, psytrance melodies and underground techno, with a bright, euphoric edge that sets her apart from darker hard techno peers.
