Bryson Tiller (born Bryson Djuan Tiller, January 2, 1993) is an American R&B singer, rapper, and songwriter from Louisville, Kentucky. He began releasing music in 2011 with the mixtape Killer Instinct Vol. 1, but took a hiatus while working at Papa John's and UPS to support his newborn daughter. His 2014 SoundCloud upload "Don't" caught the ear of Timbaland and Drake, led to a deal with RCA Records, and became the lead single for his 2015 debut album Trapsoul, a genre-blending mix of R&B, hip-hop, and trap he later described with the album's own portmanteau title. Trapsoul went triple platinum and produced the Grammy-nominated hit "Exchange." His follow-ups True to Self (2017) and Anniversary (2020) both charted in the Billboard 200 top five, and he later released a self-titled fourth album (2024) and Solace & The Vices (2025). Tiller's guest verse on DJ Khaled and Rihanna's "Wild Thoughts" (2017) reached number two on the Billboard Hot 100 and topped the UK Singles Chart. In March 2016, Louisville's mayor gave him the key to the city and declared a "Bryson Tiller Day."
