Russian sad dance-pop duo from the 2010s: detuned pluck arpeggio, rolling sub bass, kick-clap four-four, melancholic and euphoric in feel. A name-free Suno recipe that reproduces the signature sound without tripping the artist-name filter.

History

Artik & Asti (Артик и Асти) is a Russian-language pop duo formed in 2010 in Kyiv by producer, singer and composer Artyom Umrikhin, who performs under the name Artik. Before starting the project, Umrikhin had already made a name for himself in Ukrainian hip-hop, co-founding the group Karaty in 2003 and later working alongside artists such as Yulia Savicheva, Anna Sedokova and DJ Smash. For the new duo he recruited vocalist Anna Dzyuba, who took the stage name Asti. Their debut single "Antistress" went largely unnoticed, but the follow-up, "Moya Poslednyaya Nadezhda" ("My Last Hope"), reached radio airplay and pulled in 1.5 million YouTube views within months. The single "Oblaka" ("Clouds") then broke into Russia's Top 100, and 2013's "Sladkiy Son" ("Sweet Dream") passed two million views, cementing the group's popularity across Russia and touring Europe. Dzyuba left in November 2021 to pursue a solo career as Anna Asti; singer Seville Velieva took over vocals, and the reworked duo released the acclaimed EP "Kacheli" ("Swings") in 2024 before Umrikhin himself exited the project that November.
