2010s british atmospheric djent-core from the 2010s: polyrhythmic low riffs, string ensemble pad, syncopated djent stabs, menacing and spacious in feel. A name-free Suno recipe that reproduces the signature sound without tripping the artist-name filter.

History
Architects started in Brighton as a technical, angular metalcore band and slowly rebuilt themselves into something heavier and more atmospheric. Their later records tune the guitars low and treat riffs almost as percussion, then open the space above them with strings, synths and processed ambience, so the loudest moments arrive with a lot of air around them. The vocals stay mostly screamed, with clean melodies used sparingly and placed where they will do the most damage. Lyrically the band works with mortality, grief and ecological collapse, subjects that stopped being abstractions after the loss of their main songwriter, and the albums that followed are unusually direct about it. For Those That Wish to Exist reached number one in the UK, an unusual result for a band of this weight. What a listener recognises is the combination of a brutally simple low riff, a wide cinematic backdrop and a vocal that sounds like it is being torn out rather than performed.
