History
Anna Dziuba sang for years as one half of Artik & Asti before the solo name existed. The duo's split in 2022 could have closed the career; instead "Po baram" and then "Tsaritsa" put her at the top of the annual Russian charts two years running. The solo sound is heavier and slower than the duo's: a four-to-the-floor pulse under a low female voice that almost never leaves chest register, minor-key melodies, and a chorus that repeats its own title until it sticks. Where Artik & Asti were built on two voices trading lines, everything here is carried by one, and the arrangements leave it more room to sit in. She was born in Cherkasy in Ukraine and came into Russian pop through the duo.
