2000s russian rock-estrada power ballad from the 2000s: overdriven power chords, clean arpeggio intro, bent lead-guitar solo, defiant and melancholic in feel. A name-free Suno recipe that reproduces the signature sound without tripping the artist-name filter.

History
Alexander Marshal sings with hard rock phrasing over estrada arrangements, and that mix is the whole of his solo identity. He came up in Gorky Park, the Soviet band that carried Russian hard rock onto American stages at the end of the 1980s, and he brought its habits home: a raw, high tenor pushed from the chest, guitar solos left in the mix, choruses built to be shouted rather than crooned. His solo work through the 2000s placed that voice inside the slower, wider format Russian radio wanted. "Liven" and "Bely pepel" are the reference points, ballads where the verse stays close to speech and the chorus opens up with the full band behind it. Later he wrote a great deal on military and memorial themes and became a fixture of those concerts. Listeners recognise the grain in the voice, a rock singer's rasp applied to material that would otherwise be pure estrada. The phrasing is where the two worlds meet: he holds a note straight and then bends it late, a rock habit estrada singers rarely reach for.
