History

Adventure Club built a style of melodic dubstep around soaring, high-pitched female vocals, lush chords and drops that hit hard without losing the tune. The duo is Christian Srigley and Leighton James from Montreal, who knew each other from high school and first played together in a pop-punk band. They moved to electronic music after one of their dubstep remixes caught on, and a rework of Brand New's "Daisy" circulating on Hype Machine convinced them to commit. Remixes of Yuna's "Lullabies" and Flight Facilities' "Crave You" made the name; their "Crave You" version was used in the MTV series Teen Wolf. They became a fixture of the North American festival circuit in the early 2010s, playing Ultra and Electric Daisy Carnival, and released the Calling All Heroes EP before their debut album Red // Blue at the end of 2016. Love // Chaos followed in 2022. Their tracks tend to pair emotional vocal hooks with heavy wobble.
